KraftwerK Pad Light and Sound

KraftwerK Pad Light and Sound

The KraftwerK Pad Light and Sound allows simple and convenient control of all light and sound functions of your KraftwerK system via button press. It occupies only one proportional channel and does not require complex multiswitch signals. Due to this straightforward operation, it is compatible with all remote controls and can be easily integrated into existing models. Additionally, the pad is fully compatible with the Beier SFR-1 and USM-RC3.

The 2025 generation is equipped with a central RGB LED that visually indicates all inputs. It signals short and long presses by color, confirms switching to the additional level and back, and visualizes the control ranges when pressing the setup button. This provides the user with clear feedback on the current operating status of the pad at all times.

Functions

The pad differentiates between short (orange symbols) and long presses (white symbols), allowing control of numerous functions:

Short presses (orange symbols)

  • All light functions
  • Rotating beacon
  • Fifth wheel coupling
  • Additional functions via level switching

Long presses (white symbols)

  • Trailer supports
  • Tipper
  • Ramp
  • Gearbox
  • Servo 1 and Servo 2
  • Flashing light
  • Horn
  • All On/Off
  • Engine Start/Stop

Up to 22 additional functions can be controlled via the level switch (top left button) – eleven each via short and long presses.

Special mode for fine adjustments

If one of the buttons 1–8 is pressed and held, the system switches to a special mode where the respective function can be finely adjusted afterwards.

Example: Holding the flashing light button dims the driving lights. Afterwards, brightness can be adjusted stepwise with short presses. This mode also applies to supports, ramp, tipper, and horn. After approximately one second without input, the pad automatically returns to normal assignment.

Tip

With the "simple switch" function of the light modules or switch extensions, all outputs can be assigned any functions. For example, the pad's servo functions can be used to switch work lights or additional lighting.

Compatibility

  • Compatible with all remote controls (learning mode required)
  • Occupies only one proportional channel
  • Can operate on an occupied channel if it is unused and remains in neutral position
  • Signal evaluation occurs in RS1, KLM, SFR-1, or USM-RC3
  • Supports older modules such as KLM 4/0 and KLM 4/12–500 (after update)
  • Full compatibility with Beier SFR-1

Technical data

  • Power supply: via the remote control channel
  • Maximum current consumption: 20 mA
  • Number of buttons: 12 (travel 28–100 % in 14.5 % steps)
  • Controllable functions: up to 45
  • Speed controllers: all compatible
  • Sound modules: Servonaut, Beier
  • Remote control systems: all with proportional channel
  • Long press: from approx. 0.5 seconds
  • Dimensions: 78 × 33 mm

Note on connection

The connected channel must be a proportional channel – a servo at the corresponding receiver output must be able to move continuously. Switch channels are not suitable.

Anschluss: Analog
Externe Stromversorgung: Ja
Kompatibilität: Alle Fernsteuerungen, KLM, RS1, SFR-1, USM-RC3
